GIFs
If you've spent any time on the internet at all, you've probably come in contact with a GIF. The acronym GIF stands for "Graphics Interchange Format." A GIF is a short, animated picture, without sound. These short clips are making big impact and add another layer of interest for consumers.
GIFs are typically used as memes, to portray an emotion or a reaction. However, brands are now frequently using them on social media to showcase new releases or use them to interact with customers.
When users are scrolling through their social media feeds, a simple photo and text post may not grab their attention, but you can make your marketing stand out by using GIFs. These short animations allow us to express complex messages in a matter of seconds.

I have experiance using both Photoshop and Canva to create visually engaging GIFs and find this type of content a quick and dynamic addition to any content strategy.

While working at East Durham Collage, I had to create multiple on-brand videos such as 'EDC Sustainability Initiative' and 'Hairdressing Promotion With Lee Stafford'.
Responsibilities included setting up equipment, arranging shooting locations, writing and directing scripts and assisting with editing using Premier Pro.
